Get to know me

I’ve had a passion for photography ever since I was a young child. Growing up, I was very close to my grandparents. My grandad had dozens of cameras and was often the designated photographer at many family events, so naturally, I loved to take a spare camera and play around taking photographs of anything and everything.

In my teenage years I had decided that I wanted to be a photographer. I got my very own camera and became obsessed. All day I would be taking photographs or watching tutorials to improve my skills. I started out with nature and wildlife photography – learning the intricate settings of my camera and how to fine tune every detail to get the resulting image I had in my mind. As I became more confident with my skills, I moved on to family portraits, family weddings and later offering my services outside of my own small social circle.

This allowed me to be more adventurous. I took a college course in photography, in which I opted to explore the genre of product photography for my final major project. With inspirations such as Peter McKinnon and Mario Koll, I dove in headfirst. Using my time at college, I refined my skills to be able to turn an everyday, mundane product into a visually appealing image, which tells a story and stands out from the competition.

Over the years, I have ventured into many other aspects of photography, which has given me the opportunity to work with a wide variety of people and businesses. I’ve loved expanding into dynamic spaces like event and music photography. Whether it’s capturing the raw energy of live bands on stage, crafting precise product setups, or creating memories of a perfect wedding day – I love what I do, and throw everything at it to ensure my clients walk away with images that exceed their expectations. Above all, I love what I do, and I throw everything into ensuring my clients walk away with images that exceed their vision.
